#AMES Edible Paint!!

Do you love cooking, science, and have a passion for food and art? Then this review is for you!!

I found this wonderful creation in a book called "AMAZING (mostly) EDIBLE SCIENCE" by Andrew Schloss. Here's a picture of the front cover for you:

Every so often I will post a recipe from this awesome book, so look out for this hashtag in the title! (#AMES)

I chose this recipe because I thought it sounded awesome.  I didn't believe that you could make edible paint until I tried.

The results were incredible!

First, I mixed up some cornflour with water. It was really gloopy! I boiled it whilst stirring. It turned translucent and it looked really cool!

Next, I put our mixture into some cute jars and added some colouring!  It looked super-dooper cool!

I wasn't done yet though! Finally, I added some flavouring. Although the recipe said to use concentrated essences, the only one we had was vanilla, so I experimented a bit with lemon juice for yellow, lime juice for green, some strong cranberry and pomegranate tea for red, and vanilla essence for blue! I mixed some of the red and blue paints together and it didn't taste very good but it looked beautiful!

Yay! It was time to paint!

See if you can guess what I painted!

Did you guess? I painted...

A field and lake at sunset!!

What do you think of my art skills?

Why, thank you for the compliment I sadly could not hear...
 *crying so hard right now*
